Offline Texas Hold'em Tournament House Rules

CoralPllay's tournament rules are designed to keep every Texas Hold'em event fair, friendly, and unmistakably offline. The following overview highlights our key chip buy-in procedures, play structure, and etiquette expectations.

Registration & Seating

  • All tournaments are held on-site at CoralPllay's card room and require in-person registration.
  • Players are assigned seats randomly to ensure a balanced spread of experience across poker tables.
  • Late seating is permitted only within the advertised registration window, subject to available chips and seats.
  • Seating adjustments for accessibility are welcomed and can be requested with our tournament directors.

Chip Buy-In & Structure

  • Each event lists its chip buy-in, starting stack, and blind structure on the tournament calendar and player briefings.
  • Chip buy-ins are processed at our in-venue registration desk; chips are used for play only at our poker tables.
  • Re-entry or add-on options, where offered, are clearly announced before the first hand is dealt.
  • Players must keep all chips visible on the table surface; pocketing or concealing chips is not permitted.

Etiquette & Conduct

  • Respectful behaviour is mandatory; our card room is a social space where new and experienced players share the felt.
  • Act in turn, avoid revealing live hand information, and protect your cards at all times.
  • Phones must remain off the table during active hands to keep play focused and distraction-free.
  • Verbal declarations are binding; speak clearly when making raises, calls, or folds.

Trophy & Leaderboard Eligibility

  • Points are awarded based on finishing position, attendance, and sportsmanship criteria set by CoralPllay.
  • Only offline poker events hosted within the CoralPllay card room contribute to leaderboard standings.
  • To be eligible for signature trophies, players must be registered under a single consistent name.
  • Any breach of house rules may result in adjustment or removal of leaderboard points at the tournament director's discretion.
